Weightlifting Tips: Passing the Knee

We all know there are 1,500,394 different things that can go wrong during the snatch or clean and jerk. I've learned over the years that precisely 92.397% of all missed lifts were because of an error made between the floor and the middle of the knee. Many of us spend far too many hours working on the turnover and not the first pull and transition THROUGH the knees, never really learning how to push the bar off of the floor, and pass safely through "no man's land" (the mid-knee area) consistently. In this video, I'll teach you what good position and movement looks and feels like as well as how it shouldn't look and feel. I also go over some cues, corrections and drills that should help you improve your technique off the floor.
